Pictures with Santa

A few days ago Michelle took Lily to get her picture taken with Santa.

Well, I don't know for sure what happened, but from what I gathered from my Mom and Michelle - Lily wasn't too sure about getting her photo-op with a man dressed in red who wore a fake beard.

Lily spent the whole time trying to jump out of Santa's reach, and Santa spent the whole time trying to keep her on the bench they were sitting on.

It turns out that Michelle and Lily came in while Santa was on break. Lily must have seen him putting on the Santa get-up after getting back from break, and felt he must be a "shady" character. lol

I know you're probably wondering why the rest of the gang didn't get Santa photos done - well, they got their pictures done with Santa last Christmas in 2007. We didn't get Lily until the middle of May 2008.

Like I said in the last post, we did professional photos this year - it's too expensive to do both.

Forgive the poor quality

*taking a picture of a picture with a camera phone in bad lighting and the pictures' are in a glass frame - yeah, not going to turn out good. And yes, that's me reflected in the glass, lol.

*I have a really bad fear of the dogs getting loose so Santa had to hold the boos' harnesses in the photos for my "peace of mind". In the top photo you can see the leashes on Santa's wrist (and in both photos it looks like Santa is being "taken out" if you know what I mean - I didn't realize this until after the photos were printed.

All and all I love the pictures, but they are a little unorthodox.
